Ryley Remme for a number of reasons. For one, he paid me five dollars this year instead of two. Secondly, this promising young slalom specialist displays great potential after dropping his slalom points by 37.4 percent in just one year. Every skier knows that this is no easy task and when an athlete is able to reduce their points this substantially, future success is imminent. To top it off, the upcoming star also improved his Canadian slalom rank for the birth year of 1994 from number nine to number two and once again, ahead of arch rival Mac Senior. With progress like this, we will only have to wait a few short years before seeing Remme race against the all-time greats on the World Cup. Also, look for a skier named Reto Schmidiger. This Swiss national champion has already garnished his first world cup top-ten finish in only his fourth year of FIS and has had points under 10 in three disciplines.
