What is the best thing that can happen to you this year?
It would be great to qualify for the provincials.
What gets you pumped up at the race start?
I do push ups and run a lot.
What's your favourite meal before a race?
In the morning I always have whole-grain bread and bananas.
What is the worst thing your parents can say to you at the bottom of a race course?
The worst thing my parents can say is “That wasn’t pretty”
What other interests/sports do you have?
I do long and high jump, 100m sprint, basketball, and hockey.
Why did you choose the NSA?
I chose the nsa because it’s a great opportunity for my skiing and academics. The coaches are great and you make lots of new friends and also YOU GET TO GO TO SWITZERLAND!
Who is your ski racing role model and why?
My role model is Bode Miller because he still manages to get down the hill with lots of kafuffles and he trains very very hard for his races as does every racer in the world cup also he came from a not so great background, he had to work for everything that’s why I’m so grateful that I can come to a very amazing academy like this one.
Highlights of your time at NSA.
My highlight of the NSA would have to be the first time I went to Saas fee and got to meet all the people I was training with also just to go to Switzerland with all my new friends.
