FIS Spring Series -Stoneham & Le Relais, Quebec -March 31-Apr 3
The spring sun was shining brightly for 4 days of very competetive races consisting of 2 GS and 2 SL. NSA racers came through with some great results and personal bests. Day 1, ladies SL, Roni Remme 8th (1st J1), Caroline Bartlett 14th (3rd J1), Emma Woodhouse 26th and Tannis Boisvert 30th. Day 2, ladies SL, Roni Remme 10th (1st J1), Sandra Gerlich 21st (2nd J1), and Tannis Boisvert 24th. Day 3, ladies GS, Roni Remme 15th (4th J1), Caroline Bartlett 17th (5th J1), Emma Woodhouse 24th, and Tannis Boisvert 26th. Day 4, ladies GS, Emma Woodhouse 21st, (5th J1), Tannis Boisvert 22nd. NSA men raced to some of thier personal bests. Congratulations to all.

K2 CanAm Series -Mt. Tremblant, Quebec -March 23-25
NSA athletes completed 3 days of competetive races consisting of 2 GS and 1 SL (SG was cancelled due to snow conditions). NSA results are; GS#1, Rachel Clarke 16th, Max McVey 11th, Austen Remme 16th, GS#2, Austen 25th & Rodolfo 26th, SL, Rachel Clarke 9th, Austen Remme 4th, Rodolfo Dickson 19th, Max Michelin 24th.

NorAm Final SL -Mt. Ste. Anne, Quebec -March 23
Roni Remme wins NorAm SL Jr. (19 years and younger) gold. Coming down with the 15th fastest time in the 1st run and the 3rd fastest in the 2nd, for a combined placing of 10th overall.

USSA CENTRAL CHAMPIONSHIP -Lutsen, MN -March 22-25
Beacause of snow conditions this series has been changed to 4 slalom races. NSA racers have had a great 4 days of racing and many have achieved personal bests. Race results include; day 1,Emma Woodhouse takes gold in the overall, Tatum Alkier 10th J1. Day 2, Frederique Nolin top J1 (9th overall), Romy Gravel 7th J1 (20th overall), Tatum Alkier 9th J1 (22nd overall) Claire Woodside 10th J1 (23 overall), Eric Wijnbergen 10 overall. Day 3, Emma Woodhouse 1st J1 (6th overall), Sanadra Gerlich 6th J1 (13th overall), Tatum Alkier 8th J1 (15th overall), Eric Wijnbergen 7th overall, Joey Young 11th J1 (26th overall) Robert Cohen 12th J1 (28th overall). Day 4, strong finishes from all racers including Frederique Nolin 5th, Emma Woodhouse 6th, Sanadra Gerlich 10th and Ryley Remme 10th.

FIS SL Races -Masfield Ski Club -March 17
Strong slolam races for the NSA athletes. Mansfield held 4 races on this warm day, 1st Mens race was won by Ryley Remme, with Erice Wijnbergen 6th. Ladies 1st race we have Sandra Gerlich taking gold, Claire Woodside bronze, Tatum Alkier 4th, Romy Gravel 6th, Olivia Verge 7th and Diana Mason 10th. 2nd Mens race winner Erice Wijnbergen, Cameron Hale 6th, Robert Cohen 7th and Ryley Remme 10th. In ladies race we have Tatum Alkier taking silver, Claire Woodside 3rd, Olivia Verge 4th, Romy Gravel 5th, Diana Mason 7th, Adelaide Jensen 8th and Gabrielle Nadeau 11th.

FIS US Eastern CUP GS - Sugarbush, Vermont -March 15
Congratulations to Caroline Bartlett, with a solid first run (24th) she came back to win the 2nd run and take bronze overall (1st J1).

K2 Provincials Overall - Ontario -March 10 
The 2012 Men's K2 Provincial Overall title goes to NSA's Austen Remme. NSA K2 overall Provincial standings are Max McVey 6th, Rodolfo Dickson 8th, Max Michelin 18th, Riley FInch 22nd, Rachel Clarke 4th and Katrina Nella 16th. Congratulations to all.

K2 Provincials SL -Alpine, Ontario -March 10
Racers had great snow condtions for the K2 Provincial SL. Strong finishes for the NSA athletes with Austen Remme coming in 4th, Rodolfo Dickson 12th, Max Michelin 14th and in the girls race we have Rachel Clarke 5th and Katrina Nella 8th.

K2 Provincials SG -Osler, Ontario -March 9
Great day for NSA team in the SG. In the ladies race we have Rachel Clarke 3rd, Katrian Nella 11th. On the Men's side Austen Remme wins Gold, Max McVey takes Bronze, Rodolfo Dickson 5th, Riley Finch 15th and Max Michelin 16th. Congratulations to all.

Skiing in the rain.... Tough day of salom for NSA athletes today with our the top finishes from Max Michelin 9th and Rachel Clarke 8th.

Congratulations to NSA racers Rachel Clarke taking silver for the ladies GS, and strong finishes from Max McVey 3rd, Austen Remme 4th and Rodolfo Dickson 5th.

FIS SL Races -Devils Glen, Ontario-March 1-2
NAS athletes continue to perform and achieve personal bests. Congratulations to Emma Woodhouse steps up to the podium on both days with a 4th place finish overall (2nd J1) and 3rd overall (3rd J1). Adelaide Jensen 9th overall (7thJ1) in the 1st race. 2nd race results we have Sandra Gerlich finishes strong in 5th (4th J1), Tannis Boisvert 8th, Tatum Aliker 9th (5th J1) and Claire Woodside 13th.

FIS GS Races -Georgian Peaks, Ontario-February 27-28
Many personal bests for the NSA team. Congratulations to Carly Jordan for her 4th place finish, Tannis Boisvert 5th, Emma Woodhouse 10th (5th J1). Matt Nelms places 13th (3rd J1) and Eric Wijnbergen finished 14th.

K2 Slalom Races -Mansfield & Devils Glen-February 25-26
NSA finishes strong in the K2 SL races on the weekend. Katrina Nella takes the Silver and Rachel Clarke brings home the Bronze. In the men's race Austen Remme comes back after the 1st run to take Silver.

FIS Bromont Race Series -Bromont, Quebec -February 16-19
Caroline Bartlett comes on strong in the GS portion of the Bromont race series, finishing 3rd J1 (12 overall) on the first day of races and winning gold in the J1 age group for the second GS race (8th overall).

K2 SL Race -Alpine, Collingwood -February 12
Great day for the NSA at the K2 Alpine SL race. On the mens side we have Austen Remme in 2nd place and Max Michelin taking 4th, and in the ladies race Katrina Nella finishes with a personal best, winning the bronze medal.

K2 GS Race -Craigleith, Collingwood -February 11
NSA's Max McVey takes Silver in the K2 GS race at Craigleith, while the ladies raced their GS at TSC and Rachel Clarke finishes in the top 10 with a 7th.

K2 Skier Cross Race -Osler, Collingwood -February 10
Congratulations, NSA's Rachel Clarke wins bronze in the first K2 Skier Cross Race. 4 NSA men make top 10 finish, with Max Michelin 4th, Austen Remme 5th, Max McVey 8th and a personal best for Riley Finch 9th.

FISSlalom Races -St. Sauveur, Quebec -February 4-5
NSA Ladies ski well in St Sauveur slaloms. Emma Woodhouse finished 5th J1 on the first day and Frederique Nolin finished 4th J1 in the 2nd race. Congrats...

K2 Wilcox Cup SG Races -Georgian Peaks -January 31
Congratulations to Austen Remme for winning the first SG. Max McVey for winning the second SG. Rachel Clarke finsihed 3rd place in the first SG and 2nd in the second race. Kartrina for her personal best finish of 5th place in the first race and 6th in second. Max Michelin for his 6 place finish for the 2 SG races. Riley Finch also achieved a presonal best of 13th in the second race.

J Wilcox Cup SG Races -Georgian Peaks -January 30
Samantha Thompson takes Gold in the second race at the Wilconx Cup J SG race after poping out of her ski in the first race. Congrats!

K2 GS Race -Georgian Peaks -January 26
Rachel Clarke comes in 4th place at todays race. Max McVey is top NSA with a 2nd place finish and Max Michelin coming through in 8th.

Winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG) -Innsbruck, Austria, -January 13-22
CONGRATULATIONS RONI!
Roni Remme closed out her week of racing Friday by claiming Canada's first podium in alpine with a silver medal in ladies' slalom at the Youth Olympic Games.
Remme clocked a two-run combined time of one minute 21.25 seconds, behind Slovakia's Petra Vlhova (1:19.76). Russia's Ekaterina Tkachenko was third in 1:21.62.
"It feels good," Remme said. "It's good to be walking home with something to show for it."
Canada ski coach Jean-Francois Belisle, was proud of Remme's performance, especially in light of the fact that she was racing in very difficult conditions.
