What is the best thing that can happen to you this year?
The best thing that could happen to me this year is to lay my skis over and get some sweet pictures.
What gets you pumped up at the race start?
I like to just jump around and loosen my muscles, sometimes I'll watch some of the other racers go down before me.
What's your favourite meal before a race?
My favourite meal before a race would be scrambled eggs on a cheese bagel.
What is the worst thing your parents can say to you at the bottom of a race course?
I don't know, I'm just happy if I get there.
What other interests/sports do you have?
In addition to skiing I also play football.
Why did you choose the NSA?
I chose the NSA because my cousin came here the year before me and I learned how awesome it was from him.
Highlights of your time at the NSA.
Swizterland. Everything about it is great; 5:30 warmup, European lift lines... But mostly the food, especially lasagna at La Gorge.
What would you tell prospective NSA student athletes?
It's great. It combines skiing, school, and fitness and is the best option out there.
Who is your ski racing role model and why?
My ski racing role models are Mike Janyk and Ivica Kostelic because they are pretty good at slalom.
