What gets you pumped up at the race start?
I love hearing my coaches and teammates cheering me on.
What's your favourite meal before a race?
Pasta, salad and of course a hefty helping of dessert (preferably apple pie).
What is the worst thing your parents can say to you at the bottom of a race course?
My parents always congratulate me, mo matter what the result. I can't really think of anything they would say that wouldn't be positive.
What other interests/sports do you have?
I also play soccer and paddle warcanoe for Mic Mac AAC. I enjoy dancing, eating, running and watching "Flight of the Chonchords"
Why did you choose the NSA?
The program. Before deciding whether to stay the full year, I was told that there is no program like NSA's. I've come to realize how true this is. You are supported and guided athletically and academically but, given the independence to manage both on your own. You wake up everyday in a house full of people who want to see and help you succeed. It's a ver positive place and I'm honoured to be a part of it.
Who is your ski racing role model and why?
Hermann Maier... No one shreds like the herminator.
